It Seems Obama had a REASON for omitting Creator
In only 34 days, Obama has managed to eliminate any reference to “Creator” from any recitation made of the Declaration of Independence. America’s framers designed a concept, that all men have been “endowed by their Creator” with “certain unalienable rights,” including “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” But in 3 separate occasions in that period, Obama eliminated any reference to a “Creator”.
The real answer may be a little difficult to determine. Odds are that using a teleprompter, which Obama uses very frequently during speeches, may give a hint. He reads over them carefully before each speech. The same kind of omission of the key statement of the Declaration is just not done. It was willful, and it was deliberate.
Even the American Thinker believes it probably was that Obama intentionally ignored his teleprompter, which he was told to do several times. His speech—issued in both Spanish and English—had neither version mentioning the Creator.
Obama wants to make his speeches as secular as possible. He doesn’t want any mention of a god, a Creator, or any Higher Power. Government is solely responsible.
Bryan Fisher (American Family Association) admits it was clearly not a mistake: “I think the left hates the Declaration of Independence because…
Tea Party Endorsement Stress Trauma
The dreaded PEST is back with a vengeance.
Post-Election Stress Trauma emerged in the U.S. in 2004 after President Bush won reelection. The symptoms included feelings of sadness, frustration, isolation, bitterness, moodiness and fear. In severe cases it elicited irrational impulses to emigrate to Canada or even France.
PEST in 2010 has mutated into the insidious TEAPEST, which stands for Tea Party Endorsement Stress Trauma. It hit Republicans in the primaries first, but that’s a tempest in a teapot compared to what Democrats face. Read more
What the GOP Pledge Reflects and Why We Need To Stand By It
When the Pledge to America was first announced, it immediately met backlash from the other side of the aisle. President Obama began a tour dedicated specifically to breaking down the plan’s items one by one. While to many political strategists, this response may be seen as politics as usual, there are many holes in the argument that show his plans and the plans of his liberal followers may be sinking their own ship.
Discussion of Reason for Beck’s Rally Its Own Cry for Help
It is not news to hear that we are in an environment of bias which is fueled by our mainstream media. It is not even news when we hear that people who speak truth are pushed down by this sector. However, a recent situation has forced us to not only see the strength of this realization but also the danger. Read more
Using our Rights against Our Own: The 9-11 Mosque and Religious Rights
There is one consistent factor of our society which we are seeing more and more: Using our rights against ourselves in order to protect others. A great recent example is the 9-11 Mosque. Almost daily, people are debating the 9-11 Mosque and whether it should be placed two blocks where terrorists involved in the same religion took down the twin towers and changed the nation and the world forever. When the Mosque was first announced, it was a blip on the television. Aside from some conservative groups and tea party members, even the related rallies was lacking publicity despite taking place right where most mainstream media has their central headquarters. Now that it has been approved, people are screaming and the media responding.
Just as immediately, political leaders began to state the right to practice religion as a reason why this factor should not be evaded. Aside from the fact that the head of the project will not present where his millions in funding came from and has discussed his project in one breath while blaming America for the attack in the second, America once again has to turn the other cheek while being spit in the face. Defending religious… Read more
Obama Takes Easy Road on Race
With Kagan’s Nomination, We Get A Lifetime Obama
The bottom line, however you want to look at it, to Obama’s selection for Supreme Court is the choice’s reasoning is for his power only. Not only is Kagan not a correct choice for the nation but for the court as well; especially in this time of war and fiscal challenge.
No matter who it is, everyone you will speak to about Kagan has their own ideas of her but the one thing that stands out within everyone’s response is clear: “No experience in the judicial chambers.” Although many follow that up with other previous members of the Supreme Court and their glowing background as justices, it is not just the experience but what comes along with it that we should be just as concerned with. It is the timing of her arrival.
Obama should be pro-market, not pro-business
By James Pethokoukis
Should the Obamacrats be friendlier to Corporate America? Big Business has certainly amped up its kvetching of late. But it’s not Washington’s job to be pro-business and make nice with CEOs. That smells of crony capitalism and often just means rewarding big campaign contributors with government favors. The better measure of any given Washington policy is whether it respects markets.
To hear many U.S. CEOs tell it the nation’s free enterprise system, as they call it, is faltering. General Electric boss Jeff Immelt, a member of President Barack Obama’s economic advisory board, says government and business are “out of sync.” Ivan Seidenberg, CEO of Verizon and head of the Business Roundtable, complains that “by reaching into virtually every sector of economic life, government is injecting uncertainty into the marketplace and making it harder to raise capital and create new businesses.”
