After Hungary’s most recent celebration of March 15, 1848, the day when an assembly of young residents of Pest demanded the same rights that started the French revolution of 1789, the second poorest as well as the most corrupt member state of the European Union is teetering on the brink of a spectacularly universal collapse.  While the Hungarian dwarf tyrant Viktor Orban bellowed idiotic nonsense from the top of the stairs of the legendary National Museum in front of a small assembly of carefully selected and even more carefully searched fellow travelers, the so-called leaders of the thus far ineffective opposition parties tried to whip up their supporters against the one party tyranny of the former with often repeated drowsy and even sleepy listings of the countless grievances that they accumulated during their miserable existence in the political netherworld of the last fourteen years.

In the meantime, having been dumbed down methodically by the incessant falsifications of Hungarian history and current events of the government controlled media, the people listened with a huge amount of salt to the corny utopian phantasmagorias of the so-called politicians in the intellectual vacuum of their country.  Consequently, the majority of Hungarians have lost any hope that the existing political parties could ever provide a rationally workable political strategy for the present as well as the future of the Hungarian nation.

Remaining faithful to the timeless advice of his fellow tyrants, Viktor Orban railed in his “festive” speech against the poor and victimized Hungarian nation’s internal as well as external enemies, which he needed like the slowly dying person who craves the life saving oxigen.  Calling everybody who have disagreed with him traitors and lambasting the European Union as well as NATO for destroying Hungary by attempting to force upon it the “dying” republican cum democratic form of political order, he declared that he the Crusader shall single handedly attack the  collapsing fort of Brussels and conquer it for the superior Hungarian worldview, in which the new order of Eastern Brotherhood with Russian cum Chinese characteristics shall reign supreme.  Now, with the combination of local as well as European Union elections looming on June 9, 2024, Viktor Orban and his comrades have ratcheted up their hateful rhetoric designed to convince the voters that they will beat the odds to win both elections.

True to his usual form, Viktor Orban again proved that no matter what he says, he cannot dispel the impression that he belongs in a wheelchair pushed by a professional clad in a white coat instead of in his official residence at the Carmelite Cloister in the Buda Castle.  Thus, even with the little mental acuity left of him, Viktor Orban should realize that he possesses a below average intellect whose job as the Prime Minister far exceeds his abilities.  In reality, he has been successful only as a modern day buccaneer who stole billions of dollars from the Hungarian people and countless foreign entities.

On every critical issue for Hungary – the economy, education, health industry, foreign policy – he has failed and forced the entire country under water.  In his heart and miniscule mind he remained a crypto-Communist.  For this very reason, the pseudo-leader who has promised to bring all Hungarians together, has ended up politically as well as existentially excommunicating everyone who opposes him.  Today, after fourteen years of the national nightmare that he has caused, Viktor Orban blames everybody except himself.  No doubt that at the hellish bottom of his ubiquitous hatred is an ocean-deep inferiority complex.  That is the reason for his morbid enmity against everybody and everything in the world.

Amid all the hopeless idiocies from the mouth of this incurable psychopath, the government that he has presided over since 2010, and the country that he has run totally to the ground, have been destroyed by the Viktor Orban labyrinth of unimaginable corruption, shameless illegality, the construction of countless alternate universes, outrageous lies, mind numbing disloyalties and mentally deranged disconnects from reality.  Therefore, no wonder that his raison d’être of being the sole guardian of Hungary’s sovereignty has not been the protection of its national interests but the defense of his absolute power and his criminal accumulation of wealth for himself as well as his extended family.

Sadly however, Viktor Orban has not been without the hugely incompetent and childish support from abroad by misguided academics, petty ideologues and misinformed politicians who have erroneously espoused the same crypto-Communist dogma of “who is not with us is against us.”  This “us against them” mentality is clearly wrong.  The fallacy of this doctrine is that the notion of infallibility can be equated with the ephemeral promise of progress – defined also as the despotic argument of “being on the right side of history.”  The worst part of this misleadingly dynamic argument is the conflation of history with the subjective evaluation of close-minded and mostly not very smart individuals.

In this manner, instead of creating a strong leader and a strong state that the crypto-Communists desire, the gulf between the pluralistic political entities and the despotic regimes will only widen.  Exactly that is what has happened with Viktor Orban and Hungary.  And that is the problem of crypto-Communism.  It always creates the events of its own undermining.  There are no accidents in this world.  Viktor Orban’ tyranny is turning into a military-police dictatorship.  Denying the existence and the right of opposition mean the strengthening as well as the survival of Orbanistan in Hungary.  Yet, the survival of an incompetent as well as corrupt Hungary is neither in the interest of the Hungarian people nor in the interest of NATO and the European Union.
